Privacy
Your details, kept with care.

Who we are
Fondly is preparing for launch and is not yet a registered limited company. The wait list records interest only; no payment is taken.
The legal identity and contact details of the person responsible for your data still need to be confirmed. This policy is not yet complete.
What we collect, and why
When you register a pre-order we ask for your name, email address, which product you want, which colourway, and how many. That is all. We do not ask for your address, your birthdays or anything else at this stage — a pre-order takes no payment and we keep no more than the job needs.
We use those details to hold your reservation, tell you when Fondly is ready to order, and answer your questions. If you tick “Keep me updated with Fondly news and offers”, we also send you the occasional email about Fondly. If you don’t tick it, we don’t.
If a friend or family member sends you a Fondly link, we store the name, birthday and postal address they choose to share, so their reminders and cards reach you. They send it to you on purpose; you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Our lawful basis
Reservations: our legitimate interests — you asked us to hold a place for you, and it would be pointless not to write it down.
Marketing emails: your consent, recorded separately with the date you gave it. Consent is never a condition of reserving, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
Who we share details with
Only the suppliers who help us run the service: our website host [website provider], our email provider [email provider], and — once orders open — the postal service for what we post to you. They act on our instructions and may not use your details for anything else.
We never sell your details, and we never pass them to advertisers.
How long we keep them
Pre-order details are kept until [e.g. 12 months after launch], then deleted. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it, or for the same period, whichever comes first. If you ask us to delete your details sooner, we do it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can write to us at any time to:
- see a copy of the details we hold about you;
- have anything wrong corrected;
- have your details deleted;
- withdraw consent to marketing emails — every email also has an unsubscribe link;
- ask us to stop processing, or send your details elsewhere.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk, or 0303 123 1113 — or to a UK advice agency such as Citizens Advice.
Children
Fondly is not aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect details from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us details, tell us and we’ll remove them.

Our public enquiry mailbox and business contact address are being set up.
